AD(h)D and college language requirement

I was wondering if any one has ADD and is in college.. I'm finding it insanely difficult to learn a language and I'm required to take 3 semesters of spanish... The teachers just speak too quickly and the class moves too fast for me.. Do colleges typically accomodate people with ADD by offering slower/less intense language courses or am I screwed?

Talk with your teacher about finding a tutor. Colleges are usually really good about providing tools to those with disabilities.

The U of M has a Language Resource Center where you can use CD-ROMs for the languages they offer and you can go at your own pace. I've never used it because my Dutch teacher rocks, but for people who are having trouble, I've heard it's good to have a self-paced learning curve.
 
ADD qualifies you for protection under the americans with disabilities act which means the school must provide you with anything you need. Untimed testing, tutoring etc.....
