Ad-aware question.

Hi all,
Is is safe to trust Ad-aware's recommendation to remove spyware found on my system? Might it mess up anything?
Thx
Gary

It's possible that removing or disabling the spyware might disable the application or utility with which it was concurrently installed on your system. Sometimes a search of the Web site for the application will actually have instructions for removal of the spyware posted. As far as I'm concerned, if an application comes with spyware attached and doesn't even ask my permission to install it, I don't need that application -- and I don't need to do business with the people who designed the install routine that way, either.

Regards,
Jim

The worse that could happen, is that the application might quit working and wouldn't respond to removing it in ControlPanel/AddRemovePrograms. In that case, just re-install the program on top of itself, then remove it using AddRemovePrograms.
