Does Ad-Aware 2007 work with Win98? If SE Personal free is better where is a good place to get it? Thanks Les
 
Unless there was a 2006 version, I installed it on my granddaughter's '98 system last Feb.
 
There have been several versions. Majorgeeks says it works with 98, download.com does not mention 2007 for 98. I need to run it on a grandma email PC.
 
I have it installed on the box I use for email running 98 SE. Works fine although sometimes it takes two reboots to enable updates.
 
Thank you for a useful input Magnus. My XP PC has the update problem, probably because the free version is last in line. I think the same as randomlinh, but that doesn't help the 80+ yr lady.
