+1 to this

A little weak with the 4 banger, but not everyone needs the power of the v6

I'm actually talking one of my friends into buying used one instead of a new Jetta.

it's really a great car, reliable, efficient, loaded, comfortable, etc...

I don't think that car ever was offered with a V6...at least not here in the states.

Edit-Apparently I'm wrong. When they first came out they were 4 cylinder only. Haven't looked at them in years.

Well I ended up buying it  They actually didn't budge too much on the price so I ended up paying $22,000 even (got $888 off at least). On the flip side they gave me much more for my trade than I was expecting so that made up for it in my mind. They gave me $3800 for my 04 Mazda6 with 104,000 miles. I am extremely pleased and I take delivery on Saturday. I will post some pics then.

uhhh... is it just me or did you get raped in the trade in?
7 year old car with typical miles, cost minimum $20k when new for under $3800?
do mazda's have shit resale or something?
that's 20% after 7 years.
typical depreciation is about 50% after 5 years, so i'd expect 7 years to be at least 30-35%.

Meh, its pretty spot on with the value from everything I've seen checking TMV, KBB, Black Book, etc. Also when searching auto trader, dealers sell the 04 Mazda 6 with 100K+ for 7000-7500.

Here are the pics as promised. I love this car!
