looking to possibly get one...

does anyone have one? if so, i'd like to know about it's reliablity. i figure it has a honda engine so it must be rather reliable on that end. also Consumer Reports has rated it fairly high.

finally, what's a fair price for a new one? i want to see if what i'm getting is a decent deal.

hmmm i'm getting one for 28k or 33k out the door fully loaded. i wonder if there's still manuvering room on the price.

uh? $28K+TTL is around $30.5K OTD in CA. How the heck can you go from 28K to 33K OTD? I think 05 TLw/Navi were going at around $31K before TTL. If you can get one with Navi for 33K OTD it would be a good deal.

Yup we have an 04 for somewhere around 30k. Very reliable and has decent pick-up. Best car I have ever driven, so far.

My 04 6 speed w/ navi was $34K out the door as of June last year. I absolutley love this car. It looks great and IMHO is the best value in it's class. Very reliable so far getting 24 to 25 mpg in mostly city driving yet it will get to way over 130mph without even trying.

Are we talking 3.2TL/S or the new TL?
Doesn't matter too much really, I've driven both and they're both very nice. I would try to get a used TL if possible.

...That's w/o the navigation system. It has all the bells and whistles...no options. Wifey drives the TL. I like it very much but not as nimble as a G. Got less than 2.5K in mileage so can't comment on reliabilty...so far so good at this time. :camera:

The 3.2TL/S is know to have premature automatic transmission problems. I assume this has been addressed in the newer models (i.e. new body style).

There is no other car on the market that can even close to the TL when talking bang for you buck IMO...wish I could afford one. 🙁

I'm quite happy with my RSX though.... 🙂

What about the Infiniti G35?

I have an 04. I love it in everyway.

The sound system is incredible as are the features. It can handle high-speed cruising with ease.

Make sure you get the navi as all the nice voice activated stuff needs it. Also, I've got a manual and the LSD works very well and the gear box is a joy.

What about the Infiniti G35?

Doesn't offer the same kind of value and luxury of the TL. But the three that are frequently compared in this segment are the 330, TL and G35. Each with their pros and cons.

But the TL wins in the value department. Biggest gripe is FWD, but the LSD works well in the 6sp.

my friend has one. he loves it. if u care about the torque steer, it is a nice car.

as for me, if it's a fwd honda, i don't care about it.

are you kidding me??? maybe it's just me but even with the lsd, many people can still feel the torque steer.

acura is the cheapest luxary sedan you can buy. If that's what you're looking for, then an acura is your car.

I have an 04 with nav. I like the car, but hated the stock Bridgestone Turanzas with a passion. They sucked in every way. If they still come on the 06, make your dealer change them.
