The RSX is a cheaply built econo FWD car, go with the WRX, it has way more features, looks better (gotta love the euro tails) and of course AWD

I'd assume the WRX is an overall better car. Hell, what reason does anyone have to buy an RSX? It's a butchered Integra, really, isn't it? And the Integra itself wasn't the best car. Go with the WRX. :)

Have you ever driven an AWD car in the snow? Believe me, it is a LOT more fun, and a lot more stable. I used to take my dad's Audi out to parking lots, man it's great. You can get the car completely sideways, turn the wheel and press the gas, and WHALA! The front wheels pull the car back to center. It really is great, and if you spend an extended amount of time in the snow, you'll really appreciate it. Plus, I think the WRX is faster than the RXS anyway, isn't it? 0-60 in 5.7 or somewhere around there. Get a WRX, get out there, and do your best Colin McRae impression :D Of course, always do it with extreme caution.

RSX is tiny, i dont know what the hell Acura has done to it, it just looks cheap and ordinary.
WRX on the other hand, is probably a better fit for you.

<< I saw in a magazine ad it was 6.4 seconds... >>

C&D got much lower than that, I'm sure of it.

I heard the WRX is going to come out with a model that has a hybrid Electric/Gas engine. Is this true? If so, i'd like to buy one and save on gas :)

The WRX doesn't look cheap or ordinary...but that doesn't mean it looks good :)

Get the RSX. Its not about the drive train, its all about technique. FWD, RWD, AWD, they can all go up a snowy mountain at a good pace by a good driver. There are plenty of dumbass Subaru drivers who crash up in the Sierras because they think their AWD is almighty and sh!t.

Yeah, and I hang around the Subaru boards enough to read about dumbasses who think they can go anywhere with AWD.

And there were no RSX when I bought the WRX.

<< And the TURBO will love the mountain air!!! the air is thiner up there and you can feel that turbo just kick in =) >>

Regardless of whether you have a turbo or not, all cars will be slower at higher altitudes because the air contains less oxygen (which is why people feel light-headed when they excercise in the mountains.)

That being said, I'd still recommend the WRX. AWD isn't all that; however, given good technique, AWD can be helpful in many an instance. Comparing my 97 Outback Wagon vs. my Camry, the 97 Wagon handles much better in the snow (duh). I don't rely on it, but use it to complement my driving abilities.

If you are headed into the Sierras often, I'd highly recommend the WRX. Just don't drive it like the car's drivetrain itself will save you. :p
