Actual Space on 160GB HD, 130GB ?

Is it normal to see only 128GB on a 160GB HD? Should it be showing something like 156GB? (160000 / 1024 = 156)

It shows 128Gb in windows.

How is it formatted? Fat32? That's the limit. If you want one partition, you'll need to use NTFS.

I have 4 of these HDs, they will be used in a raid array (promise FastTrak100 TX 4). The Raid bios shows me a 550GB array but in windows its only 511GB.

You also need to be careful because sometimes HD manufactures measure 1 MB = 1000 KB, when actually 1 MB = 1024KB, so they might actually be jipping you on the space.

No, you should get almost exactly 149G out of each drive.

Another thread in general hardware was pointing out that ATA100 controllers will only address 128megs. You need a ATA133 controller (which I assume your drives are) to address the whole enchilada.

Unless you have a BIOS update for your ATA Controller, apart from ATA133 Controllers, all can only address up to 128GB of space.

For more, you either need an ATA133 Controller, or a BIOS Update for "48-bit LBA support".
