Actor Kal Penn joining the Obama administration

Seems stupid, but then you remember that we had a successful 8 years when the country was run by an actor in the 80's.
 
He's a liaison to Asians and Pacific Islanders and to the arts. I don't see what the problem is.

If you've paid attention anything related to the asian community (which I'll define as indian through japanese area for the purpose of this thread...manily b/c I've never seen anyone from SW Asia as part of these orgs 😛), they've been pushing on Obama very hard for things like these. For the APIAA (probably the totally wrong acronym but I can't remember the full name at this point) townhall meeting in Irvine CA last fall, Obama was the only one to call in live - McCain had some campaign spokesman speak for him or something like that (I got too bored and left early), and Clinton had some totally pre recorded video passed off as 'live feed from the campaign trail'.
Obama most definitely knows what he is doing by carefully courting this community that is quite under represented when it comes to political power.

probably not... his character on house killed himself... so...

unless he picks up another gig... but i think his new job at the whitehouse will take up majority of his time. he did say that he is giving up his acting gig for awhile.

My post has nothing to do with race, rather another friviolus position to pander to special interests. With more pressing matters pending why are we even wasting our time with stuff like this.
