Actor Art Carney dead at 85

Yeah, I just heard it on the news. He was a good actor - he won an Oscar for his role in Harry and Tonto.

He also won three consecutive Emmy Awards and was wounded at Omaha Beach in the Normandy Invasion.

I always enjoyed his acting.

I hated how he made the midway games at the fair so hard to win. Come on, I don't even think that ring can fit around a bottle.

All I can think of is that Eddie Murphy Raw comedy performance:

[Eddie Murhpy as Mr. T as Ralph Kramden] "Hey Norton...why don't you come over here and *&%# me in the *&%. HUMMINAH HUMMINAH HUMMINAH HUMMINAH!!" [/Eddie Murhpy as Mr. T as Ralph Kramden]

The Honeymooners is the greatest "sitcom" ever. I laugh harder at that show than anything else on TV.

I miss the days when you could lock your wife in the kitchen and threaten her. 😀

Sienfield was great but went on far too long. The "Classic 39" Honeymooners are as funny as television ever got. The lost episodes sucked though.

Who?

dayum doesn't anyone watch any reruns of the Honeymooners? Art Carney and Jackie Gleason where a classic comedy duo.

Most people have a hard time appreciating things that came before them. I can't get my friends to watch It's A Wonderful Life, because it's black and white. They think of it as a boring old black and white movie.
