Why the !@#$ is every Activision game on the PC sold for $59.99 when they come out? This single point of sale greed along with their new abandonment of the PC community decision to run with that hosted matchmaking service for COD MW2 totally sent me the other direction. I'm sure this has been spoken about to death here but I just had to get it off my chest how much I dislike that company right now.
 
EVERY Activision game on PC? $60? Really? I thought it was only MW2 that received the $60 treatment?
 
It is stupid that Activision decided to charge $60 for MW2, but what's even more stupid is people still bought it at that price..

I never understand the whole "they're being greedy" argument. Do you think they are making games for the heck of it?

Consider that it's often made by people who are themselves "greedy" enough to insist that they are paid the highest salary they can. If you're cynical, chalk this up to self-interest rather than simply inconsistent logic.
 
The $50 that I spent on CoD4 was a big mistake. I could not stand that game... run around shooting grenades until you run out, die, repeat.

I hope they never come out with a game that I want again. Unfortunately, Blizzard is a part of them now so that might be difficult🙁

That being said, if they can charge $60+ for it and people will still pay it, more power to them.

You're playing on the wrong servers. I only play on "no marty, no last stand, no grenade launcher" servers
