Not anymore. They are spending $45billion on dividends and stock buy back over the next 3 years.

Apple makes more money than it spends, even with the dividend. Their profit was $13 billion from January to March of 2012.

I don't think anyone can outright buy Activision Blizzard since they are worth so much (and they do generate quite a bit of profit), so it must be just a % of their total stake in the company.

Look, all I know is that diablo3 sucks. The company took so much time to develop a game that is fail. There is not a single good thing about it compared to earlier installments. Hell, there is not even a battlenet lobby. Remember all the hype quite a few years back of battlenet interface going to own. Oh, there is no battlenet sry.

Battle.net lobby: all spammer bots, whisper spam.

Apple has no reason to buy Activision-Blizzard anyway.

Take one of the most successful/largest gaming companies and make them program iOS apps? They would piss off quadrillions of Windows/Android/Sony gamers. That's the exact type of f-you move that Apple would do.

Is it like some kind of trend to hate on Blizzard lately? All the hate and whine and yet all their games are doing successful from any perspective (sales/volume-usage/critic review/user review[majority].)

I'm not even a Blizzard fan for say, only really played WoW outside of the WC days) but damn I didn't know they had such hardcore fanboys that on the drop of a bad decision they foam at the mouth and the entitlement shines through.

Reminds me of this guy who can't stop trash talking Diablo 3 and how it isn't Diablo 2 yet he's working on his 5th level 60. Yeah, game must be THAT bad.

Vivendi ruined Sierra. Can't imagine anybody doing worse than that, but EA will find a way I'm sure.

They would be better off buying Rovio and making Angry Birds an iOS exclusive.

ATPCG, let us unite and buy Blizzard and Activision. A company by the gamers, for the gamers.

This game sucks sooo much, I just can't wait to go home and play it.

prediction: Facebook buys blizzard and suddenly has a way to make money. Facebook's stock quadruples by the end of the year.

You heard it here first.

Apple and MS aren't the only entities which have the buying power... Think outside the box.....
