Active X controls in Firefox?

My wife needs Active X controls to do some work online. I DLed the controls that are needed via Internet Explorer, but I only want to have her use IE as a last resort. is there any way to have active x controls in Firefox?

Thanks.

The only thing wrong with IE is the ActiveX. If you need to use it for something just go ahead and run IE.
The main gloating point of FF and FF users is that it doesnt have the bad things associated with ActiveX.
Just let her use IE for the one thing she needs to do.

That's what I've done at this point and I think I'll stick with it. I have IE start on the page she needs (abc.gov) and I left her with strict instruction never to use IE for general browsing of the internet.

I did find 1 or 2 plugins, but they seem to have font issues. I think the better of the two is stil la beta and the project has essentially ended.

Anyways ... doing what you recomended. Thanks!
