Active window problem

Hi,

My active window only stays active
for 5 secs, and then I have to click
it again to make it active. Why does
it turn off automatically? Has never
been like this before..

Sounds like you have something running in the background. If you are running Win9x, hit ctrl-alt-del and see if anything unusual is running. If running win2K, go to task manager.

If you are running win2k, you can go to task manager and sort the running apps by CPU usage. Do this and watch when your app becomes inactive and see if any programs jump near the top of the list momentarily.
