I'd prefer to get back to the topic at hand.
Why was the family's warning not heeded? Did authorities even pass along the threat info to YouTube facilities management/security? Were they made aware of the threat?
Also, police near San Bruno found the shooter sleeping in her car 24 hours before the shooting, and saw that the license plate was flagged on a missing persons report filed by her family 3 days ago. Did they even notify the family before releasing her? Were they made aware of these she had made before releasing her?
Finally, where did she get the handgun? Her family says they had no idea she owned a gun. Was it purchased legally or recently? If so, how does one pass a background check when they have a missing persons report filed??
It seems this is as yet another shooting that would not require a gun ban to have been prevented by authorities if information had been shared...just my initial take.
