How, that is constitutional? What % of the population are you willing to let die from gun deaths before you stop proposing new laws?
Geezuz Cries-t! 0.0001%?

None would be awesome but impossible. Less than what is currently happening in the country.

You've been answered repeatedly. ... A LOT LESS.

Ignorance is your strength I see... When you grow up and enter the real world and see how it works. You'll figure it out .

You bring nothing constructive to a firearm conversation except childish lashing out and emotion. You should actually go seek help.. you might be the next shooter some day..
I'm not physically violent nor do I own any guns and neither would I ever purchase one.

I no longer bother with trying to have constructive conversation with gun nut 2A purists. You know why? They're too dumb. But not in a way I can empathize with. It's insidious and intentional and worthy of trashing on. It's not because of their little penises, it's because they don't know how to use 'em.

Damn I'm just coming to this thread to find some news on the shooting at YT HQ but all I see are a buncha people waving their dicks around.

/sadface

http://abc7news.com/sources-youtube-shooter-identified-as-user-nasim-aghdam/3298575/

Shooter was a Persian woman who was a vegan and animal-rights activist. She's also completely batshit crazy, and "hates" YouTube for unknown reasons. Her father even warned the police that his daughter was making threats against YouTube. The man that got shot was not an "ex-boyfriend" or whatever people were speculating about. He was apparently some random unlucky victim.

Don't expect a full explanation to be given about this anytime soon.

Problem is your version of "constructive conversation" is ban all firearms no one should have them. Not constructive at all...

If I felt people shouldn't be allowed to disrespect others the way you do and we shouldn't be allowed the right to freedom of speech. With it we cause people to get emotional and do violent thing to others.

How would you feel about that?

How is what constitutional? We already have gun control, so it is just a matter of degrees.
I'm not willing to let any amount die, but I accept that a certain amount will.
How many lives do you think it is worth?

How would you reduce the deaths in a constitutional manner?

It sounds like you are saying America is not a great nation as all other nations that have banned guns have been successful and have reduced gun deaths with great success. Can you find me a country that has banned guns but was unsuccessful at it? And dont bother bringing up criminals with guns, because we all know that is going to happen.
How are you going to ban guns with the 2A still in place?

How would you reduce the deaths in a constitutional manner?

By banning specific guns, by raising the bar on owning a gun by instituting a large liability penalties for damage done by a gun you owned being used, by instituting more rigorous requirements for gun purchase through a open national background check systems and stricter regulations on third-party sells, by funding research and public awareness campaigns to discourage gun use, and finally by sponsoring and funding no questions asked gun disposal and buyback programs. All of these things we already do to some extent, so they can not be unconstitutional.

And the people of your now primitive village would shut you down permanently if you went around killing your village people willy nilly armed with your rocks and twigs weapons.

Awe, those crazy Village People!
Woosh!

I'd prefer to get back to the topic at hand.

Why was the family's warning not heeded? Did authorities even pass along the threat info to YouTube facilities management/security? Were they made aware of the threat?

Also, police near San Bruno found the shooter sleeping in her car 24 hours before the shooting, and saw that the license plate was flagged on a missing persons report filed by her family 3 days ago. Did they even notify the family before releasing her? Were they made aware of these she had made before releasing her?

Finally, where did she get the handgun? Her family says they had no idea she owned a gun. Was it purchased legally or recently? If so, how does one pass a background check when they have a missing persons report filed??

It seems this is as yet another shooting that would not require a gun ban to have been prevented by authorities if information had been shared...just my initial take.

Probably exactly the same way you'd feel if your right to be stupid was stripped away from you.

I have absolutely stated how I think things could be changed in previous threads. I'm not a no guns of any kind kinda girl. Though I do think owning high powered guns and paraphernalia is stupid. FYI going to the shooting range with my in-laws and husband in May. Oooo how you gonna sort that shit out mister? *Remove yourself from anything flammable while you work that precious pea sized thing you call your brain... Small don't mean big fires can't happen, am I right? You be careful out there sunshine. A pea is nothing that should be wasted!

Thank you dumplin' for making me laugh. You haven't the ability to get under my skin. Though if you want to call my personal enjoyment at your expense getting under my skin, power to ya honey bear.

I feel sorry for you with the sheltered life you have had. Insulting people and name calling seems to be a trend with ignorant people that can't take facts that go against their beliefs..

I really could care less if you ho to a range with hubby or not.. You will still be ignorant..

Hope you have a clear mind.. we don't need another casualty at a range..

What physical evidence were the police going to arrest her on without violating her civil rights? The threats she made against YouTube were also quite vague. It wasn't specific enough to the point where she literally said that she would walk up to their headquarters and go completely ballistic to anyone working there.

Also, being found sleeping in her car near YouTube's HQ doesn't automatically spell out that she was plotting a mass murder of some sorts. Even though she was a missing person for about 3 days, it still doesn't point to any convincing proof of a crime or conspiracy to arrest her on.

I'm not making excuses for the murderer or the police, but the situation doesn't sound as black and white as it's being made out.

See, this stupid little game this country plays now every time someone gets their 15 minutes on TV... What side are they on! Usually no one speaks until that is known though...

The narrative that seems to matter here is that, still, any fucking nut job can get their hands on a gun...

#wortheverydeath
I answered your question in the other thread. If you don't like it, that's your problem.

Yours is 100, 100 percent of gun deaths is acceptable.
I'm surprised that some republican entrepreneur hasn't come up with their own line of ammo, something like Active Shooter brand. Their motto/slogan could be "if you have to shoot up the place at least stand out and use active shooter brand ammo. Active shooter reminds you to be safe and shoot everything in sight before it can shoot you back" or something equally bizarre.:eek:o_O

Explain my ignorance to me exactly. Is it the name calling? Or my stance that high powered guns should not be in the hands of civilians? One of those things can kill you. The other just hurts your precious little feelings. Buck up little one, my words will never hurt or destroy you as much as a bullet does to its victims. Stay stupid (it's apparently all you have to offer?)!
