Yeah, when you relegate every pro 2A supporter as being 'dumb' to me that shows your world view (on this issue) is limited and I don't think you are going to get far with that.

I'm not going to get anywhere with that argument. The people I'd make the argument with are too stupid. However, the next generations are likely going to obliterate 2A. Those are the people worth talking to, influencing and guiding. Where the mass shooters leave off, the smart among the older generation will move in.

Did it ever happen? Of course, but what VT proves is that you can't automatically link gun law stringency to gun crime. California, NY, they're tough and they're way up there. I'll also point out how dangerous it is in London which has controls and no rights as the US. Yeah, that's a thing.

It might be good if people using creative ways to "prove" their claims not emulate the Right and Trump. I know that both sides will misrepresent on this issue and I'm not inclined to participate in that nonsense for someone's sense of "the greater good"

Has one asked why armed teachers didn’t stop this mass shooting? In every other mass shooting armed teachers are always touted as the answer. So I’m curious how they would help here?

Maybe someone who feels strongly about the 2A can explain?
