Active Desktop

I am brain dead and can't figure this out. I have done it before. I want to put a .GIF animation on my desktop. Any ideas?

go to the desktop properties and set the wallpaper to that gif file.

When you browse for the file, if it doesn't show up just make sure you have all picture files or all files selected.
