Activating NCQ

Have a question for yas. If I have an NCQ drive and an NCQ-supporting SATA controller, do I have to turn NCQ on by myself, or does the controller say "Oh, it's NCQ. Cool, let's use that." (ie automatic) ?

in your BIOS there should be a setting that enables NCQ...
