ACT 2000 problem...it won't open!

Hi. we have ACT 2000 on all of our computers here.....well all of a sudden it won't open on my computer (and one more here)....We both ran Norton's liveupdate today, not sure if it started after that though. When i click on it, it brings up the opening screen, and sometimes opens, but then it IMMEDIATELY closes.

can anyone help??
