Acronis True Image -> New Partition Size?

My hard drive is partitioned into 40GB/40GB.

If I create an image of the primary partition, then repartition the hard drive to 80GB. Can I load the 40GB image into the 80GB space? Or does the image also apply its own partition table?

You should be able to do that. Ghost and Drive Image can do that. Do you have a second drive to store the partition image?

Yeah I do.

I already created the image. So what I should do next is format, re-partition the hard drive so there's one partition only that is 80GB. Load the bootup disk, then re-load the partition through the network?
