Acrobat Reader and XP

Acrobat Reader 5.0 crashes when I run it in XP on my system. It works fine on my friends system.

I have tried the compatibility settings, but no luck. All my homework is done thru PDF files! If XP can't run Acrobat I will have to uninstall it 🙁

I thought the problem was WindowsBlind beta.......uninstalled that still no diff

Apparently there are some specific dos and don'ts about installing Acrobat 5 in Win2000. I would imaging the same things apply to XP because it is the same kernel.

Works fine on my XP setup, done with a clean install.
