Got my BA4800 speakers today, thanks for the recommendations whoever gave input. But Im having some difficulty setting them up.

The problem is this: Im getting absolutely no sound from the rear speakers. Sound from the front ones sounds as if it might be a little off but Im not sure on that. Mostly just want to know why the rear speakers are not working at all.

Im running them into the line out jack on the back of the sound card with the front/rear in from the speakers going into the jacks on the line out adapter that came with the card (with the subwoofer one empty).

As the subject heading says, Philips Acoustic Edge card with BA4800 speakers and Im running Windows ME.

Was finished building my first computer until I encountered this problem, itching for some UT so any help is greatly appreciated.

Got the back speakers working a little now but they seem extremely muted in relation to the front speakers. But there is at least sound coming out. Any idea what could cause the muted effect? Perhaps I dont have them arranged in an optimal position..
