Ack! Please help with Abit KT7-RAID

Hi,

I just bought an Abit KT7-RAID board. I installed win98se, and I wanted to dual boot with win2K(like I had previously on my Dual p2 400 system).

Windows 98se installs ok, but when I attempt to install Win2k, I get error messages saying it can't copy/find files for installation! I've tried installing from the CD and installing by "copying setup files to hard drive"

I loaded the fail-safe settings, but I set the CPU to what it is 1.33Ghz T-Bird. I have Dual 300w power supply, ATA33 12gig HD, ATA33 11gig HD, ATA66 20gig HD, IDE DVD-ROM drive, scsi devices, and some sorta Generic PC100 Ram(I believe).

I've updated to the 3C bios dated 5/11, and when I attempt to install win2k I have already updated 98se with the latest 4-in-1 drivers. I don't have a SB Live! card, I have a PCI128.

I just simply have no idea. The last time I bought an Abit board was 3 years ago when I got one for my p2 300. I'm thinking I made a mistake in buyting this board as I'm ready to go insane trying to get this working. If I can't resolve this soon, I'm just going to return the board.

Any help really would be appreciated....Thanks.

-Jeff

Did you press F6 when asked during installation and load the highpoint raid drivers off the floppy disk? Even if you don't use the raid controllers you still must load them else w2k will not install.
