acess workgroup computer that is password protected?

Some reason my computer is password protected on my network. I never created a password and have tried all the passwords i knw but it still wont let me in to my shared files. All the other computers work fine except for mine. I have xp pro and all the others are home. It is asking for a login and the username is faded out and i can only enter a password

Turn on 'simple file sharing'. I can't remember how to do it - just google.

I looked at that and its already enabled. I went to the controlpanel and messed with the settings and still no go. I cant figure out the password, is there a default xp password?
