Acer XD1150 DLP Projector $331 shipped YMMV

Ok guys i thought this was pretty amazing that i got this for this price, i dont know if it will work for everyone but if you need a projector it is a STEAL.
Staples price for the Acer XD1150 DLP SVGA 1800 Lumen Digital Projector is $399 shipped free, Best Buy has a 12% off coupon(which staples will accept!), and Staples has a $20 off $100 coupon, and the guy i dealt with took both, i also am tax exempt, so some of you might have to pay tax. But i still think even with tax that is one heck of a deal. Staples takes Best Buy coupons easier then best buy does, every time i go to best buy to use one of their coupons they find a way to not accept it! so i stopped trying and goto staples and pm BB and use the coupon to end up with the price i should've gotten plus they give you another 10% of the difference.
I would have posted links to the coupons for you but I hear that is a big no no, so you'll have to find those on your own. but they are readily available.

Link for the projector

Not sure what they mean by "HDTV" on the input listing, but apparently there is no HDMI, or DVI input. Also, native resolution/aspect ratio is 800x600/4:3.

Still, if you can get it that cheap and can't afford an Optoma H31, or BENQ W100 it looks like a pretty good deal.

I checked Acer's US site and the XD1150 isn't listed, but the specs appear to be similar to the XD1170 that is listed. Text

I also searched for a bulb for the XD1150 and came up with zilch, other than sombody in another forum stating that they couldn't find one either and would probably just buy another projector when the lamp fails.

The p/n (EC.J2101.001) for the XD1170 projector lamp as listed on their US site appears to be a universal model for various other Acer projectors, so there is a good bet it would be the one in the XD1150. I found it for around $200.

Btw, the global acer site is apparently in Taiwan and is painfully slow for me. The US Acer site was slow also and I was amused to find out after doing a traceroute to the site that it is in Germany.

the bulb is $100 on Ebay or so...I consider this to be quite a low end projcetor...no HDMI inputs, low resolution...in the same league as the Infocus X2 line
