I've seen the Acer Predator in person and I have to say that it looks good except for the orange front panel which is ugly. The arms holding the black faceplate is quite flimsy as well and more of a gimmick as you would have to manually open and close it.

The cable management is also bad as you could see here. Messy cables hidden behind a plastic shroud is not going to increase airflow and aesthetics goes down the drain. No different from an Alienware casing I would say.
 
Asus made a case with the same door style... not as gaudy but every bit as strange looking.
