I'm posting it because it's different. This is not the same tablet as the A500 that's been available for months already. This is a 7" dual core tablet.

i really like my nook color, the 7" form factor is very comfortable, ill want something different in a year or two, i expect, as far as hardware and software goes so something like this would be up my alley

This is fabulous on paper... now wait to see some real-life reviews... I think 7" is the best form factor for a tablet. At 10", you're already in ultraportable/netbook territory.

I'm waiting to see what amazon introduces. I want a 7 inch as an e-reader and I suspect amazon will introduce something in a nook form factor with dual core. This has a lot of ports so I wouldn't rule it out (the a500 screen is pretty decent). The nook is too b&n for me as well as being a bit slow.

Agreed. At $250 they would steal a lot of the steam away from the Nook Color. As good as it is, it's still sluggish and slow. A dedicated tablet with more memory for the same price would be great.

the battery on that thing is SMALL. most phones have roughly the same battery capacity.

As I said when it was announced, this thing is pretty heavy for a 7". New devices that size should be lighter than the original Galaxy Tab, not heavier.
