Acer CD-RW Drive

I recently installed an Acer CD-RW drive for a family member and I just wanted to let all the naysayers know that the drive works great. I read a post about a week ago in which Acer cd-rw drives were bashed and made to look like crap. I have already made backups of a few audio cd's, games, and programs. I have burned about 10 cd's total so far, and haven't had a single problem with any of them. SO if you are considering a new CD-RW and are looking at Acer don't necessarily believe everything you hear. I'm sure Plextor is great and all, but it isnt really needed for the casual user.

hah, that's what I said when I first tried my acer cdrw drive. It was all downhill from there.
