Acer 8104 to be sold at newgg

These have been in stock off and on for the last two weeks at Newegg. There's a ton of threads over at www.notebookforums.com. This laptops is the perfect combination/power/portability imho. They've been back ordered off and on for the last month or so since it's release.
 
Battery life is suppose to last up to 4 hours. Average I think is from 2.5-3 hours...but I think that is amazing for a laptop like this!

x700 128 mb...sonoma chipset...ddr2 memory....built in infrared and sd/mmc/mm-pro ports...dvd-rw...5 degree keyboard by acer...and an amazing design with long battery life. I cant ask for more!
 
many of the issues should be placed at the Acer tech support. However, I've also seen many good reviews of this. I'm not gonna get a laptop until summer 2005. Mainly because I won't need it then and newer technologies will be available. Also older technologies should be alot cheaper and much more stable.
 
I got lucky they had some come in and I have mine order and will be deliver tomorrow I hope, otherwise monday.

I'd intended to wait and get a mobile athlon this summer (probably turion if it's out in time), but this thing looks juicy as hell.

And according to the detailed specs, that "Super Multi" drive is a -R/+RDL/RAM all in one DVD burner. w00t!
