I have 8800 GTS 640 Meg with DVI interface.
If I goto HDMI base Monitor which comes DVI- to HDMI convert Cable will I lose the picture quality
over Go with DVI base monitor (2443BW) to DVI base Video Card

DVI to HDMI should be lossless. So your picture quality should be fine.

What 450 said, DVI to HDMI should be lossless, it just won't carry the audio, however.

I would go with the Acer for the extra inch and HDMI w/HDCP.

If those things aren't important to you, I would go with the Samsung because they're a better brand.
