I'm thinking about pulling the trigger and getting one today. Anyone used this LCD?

There's 2ms. monitors, but it doesn't mean essentially anything besides how much the manufacturers choose to deflate their response time.

Yeah and it probably has 6-bit color also.
People are all worked up with the response time that they neglect to see the poor color fedility of these fast screens.

The panel as a whole looks pretty sleek, I like the look..

I am really eyeing the 2405! I can't wait to jump from 20" to 24" let alone to 1920x1200!

:D

I think its a S-PVA panel or some such

#1. Response Time is listed as Grey to Grey
#2. Viewing Angles are 178... TN panels are usually 160-170
#3. Specs claim support for 16.7 million colors

Color > response time ANY day.

Costco has the D version with the DVI-D input for $899. They have an excelent return policy, you can buy it online and return it to any store for basically any reason ("I just didn't like the way it looked" works fine).

Here is a link

CRT just died so I'm thinking of grabbing one of these. I was going to wait for NCIX to get them in but I prefer costco's return policy. Thanks for the link as I'd probably never have thought to check them.

-Edit-
Or not. They don't ship out of the USA and Costco.ca doesn't have it listed. :(

Oh, sorry to both Gogar and Ankle, I should have noted in my post that it was Costco USA :(
I'm trying to avoid buying one, but my resistance is weakening :)

Just remember that you'll have to drop money into video cards like no tomorrow if you plan on gaming at its native resolution.

Does that help your resistance? :p

I'll try out the Gateway FPD2185W from Future Shop since I can return it without hassle before I throw two times as much down on this one. I still have a feeling 1920x1200 will be too strong for me to refuse. Resistance is futile? :p
