I was little unbelievable when I saw this thread sticky at 3am after I just got up from a nice sleep. I just couldn't believe an active member in was gone.
 
The Philly meet was his idea....

Please see it through and make it a good turnout. It would be a shame if it never happened now that he is not around to organize it or whatever.

I'm sorry to hear of his loss and condolences to his friends and family.

Life really is short and it's really unfortunate the events that happen and things take a turn for the worse. I realise this early on in life thus have learned to appreciate the people around me, certain situations, and realising that nothing is forever. It saddens me the realities of life, it really does.

Make the best of your times together. Time really doesn't wait for people.

Damn, He seemed like a cool guy, and we need more cool guys in this world. That's sad to hear. I remember in a thread I made about driving he mentioned he didn't drive too often because the clubs and bars were within walking distance. God damn drunk drivers.

I've updated the first post with quotes from 3 of his best friends who posted in this thread. I will keep the first post updated with any new information I get from his friends.

I don't know how familiar you all are with blood alcohol levels, but according to the article, Anthony Torsell, at the age of 20, blew a 0.242. I read that and was shocked. That's a very high blood alcohol level. At that point, you KNOW you're drunk, without a doubt. First-time drinkers would pass out at 0.15. Typically, people pass out at around .3-.4

If you decide to drive a vehicle with that much alcohol in your body, I think you should get an automatic life sentence, regardless whether you hit anything or not. There's no uncertainty there... face it, you're drunk. The threshold there, as well as here in Florida, is 0.08 for driving. Anthony wasn't even of age! He still should have known better.
