I like to think i knew Rick fairly well... I talked to him several times a week... He was always telling me i should sign up here...

I specifically remember chatting with him in a number of gun threads and he always seemed like a nice guy. He was who I always though of when I'd see the Alien avatar.

Sorry to see it happen to anybody. I believe that drunk driving that results in the death of an innocent person should be punishable by death. It is murder plain and simple and the vehicle becomes the weapon.

that's rather damning, someone should save/print that out as evidence for the prosecutor.
 
unbelievable..my friend and I were discussing how the fraternity we are alums of got busted for having a party last night..when you get down to it, all the cops are really trying to do is prevent something like this from happening..

one fellow student having a little too much to drink, and having driven drunk sucessfully before (as his facebook groups clearly indicate) and being too lazy to call a cab, thinking that he is better than the other idiots who have an accident while driving drunk

A shame that an innocent life went away in the drunk guy's 2 second decision of -- I can make it home ok..three lives ruined..

unbelievable. when i read he was 21 it sent a chill down my spine. that's my age and i couldn't imagine my parents and brother if that happened to me.

such a horrible thing and so sad.
