This is so sad. I'm not sure how to feel, really. On one hand, he was just some guy that I saw posting on the forums--sometimes profound & witty, others, well...you know what I mean. However, there are a few people on the forums that were very recognizeable. Ace was one of those. I used to see his posts in threads all the time.

What a shame. And the drunk driver will probably not get enough time for it to be considered "justice" where the punishment fits the crime. I really am speechless. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

My brother told me that over on the roosterteeth forums they did something like that for a young girl who belonged to the forums. It would be nice for these forums to do the same.

It's a funny thing, internet message boards. You spend so many hours socializing and interacting with people whom you'll likely never encounter in "real life". And yet the social bonds that unite this community are just as strong as a group of classmates, a group of coworkers or any other face-to-face community.

I never saw acemcmac face-to-face, but in reading and responding to his posts I feel like I have met him and that we shared a piece of our life experiences. His untimely death is tragic and shocking, and I hope this thread shows his friends and family just how much he was loved and will be missed.
