It still spooks me that just days before he died, he reached out to see if I'd help with and attend an ATOT meet.

RIP Ace, you are still missed and always in our thoughts.

:rose:

Yes, it was truly a tragedy. I can still vividly remember the first day this thread was posted, and when the sad update was added.

RIP :rose:

acemcmac may be the most posthumously remembered fellow on the internet. I never see him mentioned but it makes me want to slow down and take life with more joy, appreciate the moments more. For such a limited contact to have produced such a lasting impression on so many... he must have been an incredible guy.

I saw a username the other day that reminded me of him, which sent me into a train of thought about it, and I arrived at the same place I always do trying to wrap my head around the whole life death thing. A couple days later, this thread is at the top, bumped by another member I associate with "better times" as it were, in the AT landscape.

While I have tons of memories of great sunsets, the memories of great sunrises are few and far between, to which I cherish them even more.

Spent some time thinking about him this weekend. Was going to a party with some friends and I offered to DD. They could not understand that if my wife and I go out, only one of us will drink. They couldn't wrap their head around the fact that I realized that it's just not worth it.

RIP Ace. I'm still thinking about you.

I wandered around a beautiful garden in the light of the solar eclipse yesterday, Ace. One of those precious moments in life. I raise my glass to you, sir.
