Since version 2.4, I have installed every updated version. But so for 2.4 is still the fastest. Yes, 6.0 has lots of features, but to browse the pictures, I don't want to use a jumbo.

ACDsee 2.4, is still my favorite.

I've used 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0. My conclusion? It's a waste of money where nothing major has happened in revisions 4.0-6.0. It's become very bloaty. Right now I'm using irfanview right now.
