Wow, is this what happens when you live in Texas for too long???

😉😛
if anything living here should make me like ac/dc more.

GnR may be full of assholes, & you might here about all their altercations in the news, but that doesn't change the way their music sounds. If they stayed together longer, they would of been one of the top bands of all time. ACDC is a great band, but they didn't put out as much great stuff, with as great a range, in as little time as GnR.

I loved AC/DC growing up, but they are so tired and the dude's voice simply grinds on my nerves every time I hear them now. "For Those About to Rock" is still an awesome song, however.

Axl is a 1st class asshat, but if he wasn't so, I'd wager GnR may still be around today, due to their actual talent. Slash rocks - too bad his new band is suffering the same ego crap as his others.

Attitude problem notwithstanding, Axl/Axel/4x3l/howeveryouwanttospellit has a phenomenal voice & GnR has made some amazing music. I could never get into ACDC.

He has a phenomenally crappy and annoying voice, easily the worst part of G'n'R. If it hadn't been so horrible, I'd probably have like them a lot more, as the music was pretty good.

give me Angus and ACDC anyday

Um first of all it's "Axl" not Axel. He's not an Eddie Murphy character. As far as I'm concerned the remaining ACDC members can all suffer the same fate as the original singer. If you're going to flame a legend at least have the decency to spell his name correctly.

A legend??? LOL a legend?? wtf are you smoking? hes a spoiled little sh!t (remeber the riot he casued when he didnt want to go on stage in Canada with metallica after james got burned up? ) with a crappy voice that cashed in on the late 80s metal craze..
If hes such a fvcking legend where the fvck is he now?
oh thats right hes flipping burgers trying to make enough to buy another gram of coke..

ACDC still going strong and still touring after 20+ years...
now thats a legend..

You don't have to like his voice, but you've got to admit it has an amazing range & variety to it.

But just like Metallica, no one want to hear anything they've produced in the last 10 years. They're just resting upon their laurels earned in days gone by.

I've got an amazing range and variety of turds, but that doesn't make them anything more than turds.

Yeah I'm sure all those people that rioted did so because GNR sucked. Oh wait a minute they were pissed that Axl could have salvaged the day but he chose not to do so. Most people are too hung up on Axl being an asshole to give GNR credit. And Bon Scott's voice is great isn't it? Right now he's working on Chinese Democracy, which is what he has been doing for the past 8+ years. No one ever said he wasn't a perfectionist. In case you missed the 2002 VMA awards GNR received the best reaction of all the acts that night. So much for flipping burgers.

So, change tight pants to baggy pants, high pitched voice to deep voice, and you have hip-hop...

You do know what the present year is, right??

I can't believe the amount of money the record company has given him for that album, with nothing to show for it. I can't think of a single one of the greatest albums of all time that took eight years to record. It's like the Duke Nukem Forever of the music world.

Axl completely embarrassed himself that night anyway. Besides sporting a pasty-white possibly-botoxed bloated face, no eyebrows, and braids, he ran out there and was completely winded in 30 seconds and limped through the rest of it on fumes.

The fact that the crowd was incredibly excited about seeing him after nearly 10 years of being irrelevant speaks volumes about the rest of the sh!t that passes for music at recent MTV awards shows.

ACDC wins on longevity. I like what G n' R did in their brief career, too bad Axl ran everybody off.
