Damn, just reading the first lines gave me goosebumps. AC/DC is simply my favorite band, ever. I'm in the process of buying all their remastered CD on eBay. I also own their 3 DVDs, but only one of them is good (sound-quality-wise), and it's Stiff Upper Lip.

You need to see them live. They put on an excellent show. The only thing that can get on your nerves is Brian Johnson's 'voice'. Otherwise...they simply rock live. 99% of the groups out there could take a whole book of lessons from AC/DC's live performances. Aerosmith is another group that just keeps getting better with age (musically and live)

same could be said for about 99% of all bands/music out there.

AC/DC have a system and a sound that works perfectly well for them and their fans. Ever listen to Snoop Dogg? Same situation. Britney Spears....yup...same situation. There are VERY few bands/groups that evolve into something different every so often.

Yup, and when a band does evovle into something new, people scream "SELL OUT" ala Metallica. It's a not win situation and their will always be critics and complainers.

BTW: Love the part in the article about the drummer just playing bass, snare, bass, snare in 4/4 time.....it's funny 'cause it's true.

 

I see buttwipe BillGates is still posting that very old artricle, it seems his life revovles around dissing AC/DC, that is pretty damn pathetic if you ask me.

Haha, I love how you take my dislike of AC/DC personally and attack me because of it. Maybe you should read the thread - quite a few people feel the same way. And what's wrong with posting that "very old" article? It hasn't changed and neither has AC/DC's library of "talent," so the message still stands. BTW, disliking a band because they make cheese rock for the mulletly-inclined has nothing to do with my health.
