Accumulating Fan Noise

Lets say I have a 39 decibel heatsink fan. If I get a 36 decibel case fan (120 mm) what will my ears detect as the total sound volume?
 
A 3dB SPL increase results in a percieved doubling of loudness. So if you were running two 39dB fans, it should measure out to about 42dB.
