Account Removal

I am sorry to bring this topic up here. However, nowhere on this website/forum regards to the removal of accounts--I apologize if I did not look carefully enough. Anyway, I would like this account to be removed. Thank you.

Maybe you can fix the search?
They haven't been able to delete accounts for a while now. I'd find the thread but it was a Mod quote and the search won't find that.

Two options.
1) Stop using the account - Who cares if it is removed. If you have posts that you do not want to be found, edit them (if they are not quoted)
2) Get the account locked by mis-behaiving - See the thread about bans in OT for ideas and/or experts

well, i recklessly joined many sites and forums for past couple years. I am trying to clean up now. It just bothers me that if you type "zecrose" on google, things show up.

Shutting down the account will not remove any posts or quotes that you have been responsible for.

If you have not donw anything on AT to be ashamed about, then there should be no problem just no longer posting.

I see. There's no point of removing the account now then =P. Oh well. No, it's not like I have something to hide. I am just uncomfortable with the fact that I cannot control my internet activity. 🙂 Yes, i do have paranoic tendency. Thanks for the answer.

i *guess* if you wanted to go into your recent posts you could delete everything you posted including your profile

then change your password to something *random* log out and never look back

Seriously ... if that is possible ... unless you are going to work for the CIA, it shouldn't be a problem ... even the FBI has loosened up on past transgressions if they were minor
