According to profile, I've been on Steam since Aug 29, 2004

Guessing there will be a lot within a day plus or minus of mine.

9/1/2004

I remember getting HL2 and playing it for like 12 hours straight that night.

In my case I've been a member since September 16th 2003, almost eleven years at this point... yeah time flies doesn't it.

Mine says Sept 22, 2005. I think I got HL2 with a video card I bought. I thought it was so cool that I was able to download it years after from Steam even though I had gone through a couple of other machine builds. Some may detest Steam, but I thought this was the greatest thing ever.

May 25, 2004. I got Halflife 2 on launch day.

My most played games are:
COH: Tales of Valor @ 131 hours, Dawn of War 2 @ 88 hours, Civ 5 @ 80 hours, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance @ 72 hours, Xcom @ 71 hours, COH2 @ 56 hours, Super Meatboy @ 54 hours....

Hmm, I'm not sure I agree with these stats. COH1 seems low, and the rest seem high.

Many times it doesnt track stuff.
I have all the achievements from every Bethesda game, but its only accounted for about half of them.

5/24/2004. I signed up with my HL2 purchase. I recall being extremely resistant to the idea of Steam and put off signing up until HL2 forced me. Now I love Steam. Love it. Funny how things change.

I think I created to play the CS 1.6 beta, this account was stolen from me and no one has used it since 2008.

November 29, 2003.

I got a HL2 key with my 9600xt and had to create the Steam account to use it. As I recall the game took awhile to come out after that.

September 16, 2005. Not sure what my first game was or why I joined then. :hmm:

IIRC, i did not want to install Steam for the longest time, but had to for probably HL2 or Orange Box?

May 7, 2010.

I discovered Steam when I ran across a thread in the "Free Stuff" section of Anandtech entitled "Free Portal"....or something like that.

Valve was giving away Portal (I think to celebrate Apple compatibility or something like that). I signed up to see what Portal was about.

As such, I blame Anandtech.

Sometimes it just quits tracking for no reason. Warlock: Master of the Arcane has been stuck on 1,300 hours and I must have put in another 200-400 hours since it stopped counting.
