Accidently deleted Cubs tickets :(

So I was reformatting my computer and didn't think to backup my Outlook file, usually nothing worth keeping in there. I forgot back in February I ordered Cubs tickets for a June game...

Now they're lost... anyone know if tickets.com will work with me and maybe let me do will call?

hmm....a similar thing happened to a friend of mine and it wasn't a problem, as long as you have your credit card info and all that good stuff. did you happen to leave a copy of the message on the server? i always just do that so when i reinstall once i reconfigure and connect with outlook it just retrieves everything.

<- White Sox Fan.

I'm from Detroit... I'm a Tigers fan, one game ahead of the Sox!

Anyway... nope I didn't leave a copy with the server. I'll give them a call tomorrow and hopefully they can help me out. I can always show up that day with my credit card and information, maybe they'll let me in then?

what are the odds

Fixed.

Print at home tix suck. If you ever want/have to resell your tickets, you're basically up a creek w/o a paddle--nobody trusts those things (ask me how I know). Much better to just get the real deal.

But you have to ask yourself, will the Cubs be worth seeing this year? 🙂

the cubs are always worth seeing, especially to those who haven't been to wrigley. i've been to at least 250 games in my life, and it still excites me to be there. i went to a baseball camp there and i got to play on the field for the whole weekend. that was definitely an experience i will never forget. even if you dont like the cubs, it's worth checking out.

as an analogy, i hate the nazis and their crimes against humanity under hitler, but dachau and auschwitz were still worth seeing. kind of extreme i know, but the comparison fits.

Did you just compare the Cubs to the Holocaust???

And you call yourself a Cubs fan?

only in the sense that even if the product or team on display is inferior or unpleasant, that doesn't mean the experience should be avoided.
