Accessing USB Flash Drive through DOS

depends on the PC, but most of the time you dont have usb devices there, but you might.

see what drive letter is assigned in windows, then you might try accessing it thru that letter

DOS has no USB support except when the BIOS starts booting from a USB device - in that case, the BIOS emulates either a floppy disk (and makes the USB drive A:) or it emulates a hard drive (giving it letter C:).

If your motherboard or your flash drive does not support USB booting, then you cannot access it in DOS.

If you look around, about 2 months ago Panasonic Japan made a bit of a stir with USB for DOS drivers. I'll see if I can find a link to it later.

After playing around with the drivers, I was able to get the USB keydrive recognised...but it rebooted my computer...:p I haven't had time to really get it right yet.
