Christians are being killed in Africa because Christians here in the states are changing their stance on gays.

Speaking on his first live phone-in on LBC radio, the Most Rev Justin Welby said he recently visited the grave of 369 bodies in Africa where it was believed ''if we leave a Christian community here we will all be made to become homosexual and so we will kill all the Christians''.

So what do you do?

Not support gay marriages and piss people here in the states off? But at least missionaries are not being killed in third world nations.

One solution is pull Christians out of Africa. So who is going to feed the children, provide health care and bring in food?

I do not see any atheist or feminist groups standing in line to provide services to war torn nations in Africa. But then again, those groups would probably be slaughtered faster than Christians.

Which is the lesser of the two evils?

Not support gay marriage and be left alone so Christian groups can provide much needed relief efforts.

Support gay marriage and be killed while trying to provide help.

I would suggest actual gay people are at a far greater risk then people supporting marriage equality

I would say, don't go anywhere it's dangerous for travelers. If you are stupid enough to go to a dangerous place stay away from large crowds and stay in secure/well lit hotels that have armed security.

It's ignorance and the fear borne of ignorance that creates resistance and sometimes violence.

Religion can be used for good or evil purposes; read up on the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) and the violence it's leaders have propagated. As well as some of the Ugandan's and their unique reasoning that the heterosexual rape of a young girl by an older man is the "right" kind of rape.

While some Christian missions do good works there are also a significant number whose promises and gifts of clean water, food, education, etc. come with the price of spreading of the faith to a captive audience.

Also, the ''if we leave a Christian community here we will all be made to become homosexual and so we will kill all the Christians'' quote, WTF?

That's some deranged thinking right there.

No, people are bing killed in Africa because there are people in Africa who like to kill people. People are being killed in Texas because there are people in Texas who like to kill people. All the rest is yapping.

According to the OP's logic, yes.

Edit: Reconsidering the OP's argument, 9/11 would be the fault of the San Francisco City Council for allowing same sex benefits.

It's the fault of the children for allowing their brains to be damaged by the vaccine.

Gay male sex is disgusting, offensive, immoral, unhealthy,,,, and a lot of other things I am not going to post.

Female gay sex, now that is hot. I do a little muffin munching myself.

But I disagree with either group being able to marry.
