Acceptable case temps?

What is a good difference between case temp and ambient temp? Right now i'm runnin 10C's over ambient and that seems a little high.
 
That's not really that high. You have to remember everything in the case emits heats and the temperature inside the box will be higher than the ambient temp of the room. My case temp runs around 29C/84F and the inside of my house (not by choice) is around 70F (I'm stationed in Germany right now), and that is about a 10 degree difference.
 
I was wondering the same thing just yesterday. Ambient is around 26C (it aint easy keeping a house cool during Texas summers) and my case sits around 35C. I thought the 10C increase was high as well, but actually, my case is stuck under a desk with virtually no circulation and I don't have any high-speed fans.
