I'm in for one! Just a few days ago it was like $20 plus ~$5 shipping, this looks like a pretty good deal (especially coming from the stock x1900gt rev 1 cooler lol).

EDIT: just placed my order, can't wait to replace this sh1tty stock cooler, 90C at load! 😱

For those that don't know, this cooler does employ heatpipes (3, I believe); there are many reviews for it, just google 'Accelero X2 review'.

🙂 I thought so, but wasn't sure what the general consensus would be...glad to see I wasn't just being dumb lol. I mean, come on, $17 for a good, quiet Arctic Cooling cooler for high end Radeons with heatpipes?!?
 
And to think I paid $30 for a Silencer NV5R3 last year....oh well. Can't jump on this one since I have no money after my PSU purchase 🙁
 
🙂 i was seriously stunned as hell to find it for that price, to think i almost paid over $20 for it on ebay XP. I still don't think it's fully set in, I mean, premo cooling at budget pricing, what more could you want? lol
 
I'll vouch for my nvsilencer rev3 on my 6800.

it's quiet and much cooler than the stock nvidia cooler.

this ati version seems well enough rated. I'd check silentpcreview for more expert analysis if there is any.
 
Does anyone know if this will fit the X1900 AIW cards?? It doesnt say on the website for the egg or manufacture and mine is different then all the rest.

Any help and quickly on this would be appreciated if someone knows. I will still be looking in the mean time and will update for other AIW owners if no one comes forward for me.
 
idk as i don't have an aiw, but when my accelero gets here if i can find a good pic of the mounting holes on an aiw, or if you send me one, i'll see if it'll fit.

Thanks anyway, I checked my account and I dont have enough in it to get the heat sink after all. OH well. Would of liked to oc the piss out of the AIW and see what it would of really done then knowing it had a good HSF strapped on it.
 
Both my buddy and I have one installed on a AIW1900. Keep in mind it does need modification so it can clear the gold shield which I'm assuming is covering the TV Tuner. A quick use of a dremel to cut out a half inch triangle out of the heatsink base is all it took.
I wouldn't attempt it If you don't have a dremel as it will hit the shield and prevent a flush contact with the gpu.
