We don't have A/C anywhere in the house except the master bedroom, so quit your pissing and moaning! :p

you people are nuts LOL 66-68 during the day, when I am sleeping at nite then 65. And I concur, I can only take off so much clothing while the cold people are free to put on as much as they like.

Do you pay for the electricity you use? I would bet that this is the deciding factor in choosing the temps we do.

BTW, 75ish.

Aye I do, my gf hates me sometimes because she gets cold. I live in an apartment and those temps, always doing laundry, 6 pcs always on, plus 3 tv's etc my power bill runs between 100$-118$ a month. We flew out to see my girlfriends parents new house last month and her mom kept it on 78 in the middle of friggen Oklahoma. Anyway her dad made a good point, we have AC to be comfortable, we both make great money and there is no sense sweating and being uncomfortable to save a few dollars a month. Thats kinda how I feel.

I wish my power bill topped out at $120. During the winter, our bill was $200+/month. Now that summer is almost here, I shudder.... I expect it to be the same/worse, we set the a/c at 77.

Then again, I don't know if I want my apartment getting that hot during the day. I live on the first floor so the sun doesn't beat directly down on it but I'm sure it can still get pretty hot.

The highest I've seen the thermostat go thus far is 77. If I see it go above 80, I'll set the a/c for 78.

I like it cold. keep it at about 74 when at work and 68 once home. During the hot summer months here in the South, my highest bill is usually about $220-240. That includes light, gas, water, sewer, and a $26 county fire protection fee. Now the winter months are about $260-280 due to those dman high natural gas costs. Electricity is relatively cheap here thanks to TVA.
