what do we need to set AC input to in our psu in the usa? 115 V or 230 V?

ENERMAX Noisetaker 485W Power Supply, Support LGA 775, Model "EG495P-VE SFMA 2.0 Version" -RETAIL

Enermax website says AC input value is set automatically.

115Volts

Some equipment, set it automatically. Then, there is no selector. But, if there is a selector, you should set it and it will not be set automatically.

Assuming you have 120V AC in your house, like EVERY SINGLE HOUSE IN THE UNITED STATES, I would suggest the 115V setting. 😛

Then why do you need to set it? PSUs with Active PFC generally handle it automatically. I couldn't find that exact model, but this NoiseTaker clearly does so, since it doesn't have a 115/230V adjustment switch on the back.

look at this one :

I guess the Enermax site says that it adjusts ac input automatically (AC Input 95~135V or 180V~265V(Adjusted Automatically ) and you have to set ac input manually between 115 or 230V.

Yep, that one has an adjustment switch (weird; you'd think all the PSUs in the same line would be the same). It's the little red thing below the on/off rocker switch. I must say that's an extremely misleading statement on their part.
