AC Freezer 7 pro or Scythe Katana Cu?

It seems both can be had for about the same price ... is there a clear winner? I'm wanting to stick with these smaller hsf's so I won't need to be concerned about moving the case around a lot.

I intend to overclock with an e6400 or e4300.

My Katana Cu is coming in and I'll be ocing a 4300. I chose it coz the Katana (regular) seems to have good reviews so I expect the Cu to be a bit better and lighter than the tower coolers such as the NINJA/INFINITY/TUNIQ. I also need it to be light for mobility

If you haven't received any other answer I'll reply again once I OC with it and get the temps.

GL.

The AC 7 Pro comes with a quiet, ceramic bearing fan.
Look over the 100+ HSF comparison tests at madshrimps.be. It can be found in the stickied thread at the top of this forum.

Where can you find Freezer 7 pros in stock and at normal price? What happened to them.. they are sold out every where, discontinued?

Ok got my Katana Cu:

Using TAT to monitor temps

Stock HSF with TIM - IDLE 40 LOAD 60

Katana Cu(pointing upwards to the top of the case with LOW fan setting) + Shin Etsu x23 - IDLE 28-30 LOAD 45-50

Specs:
Antec 900 case with 3 fans IN(2 front and 1 side) and 2 fans OUT(Top and Back)
4300@3GHz (1.33x voltage)
2GB ram
250 SATA HDD
SATA DVDRW
Corsair 620W PSU
....etc.

I bought it at CrazyPC.com for $50< sorry I forgot how much I paid.

Good luck on your choice
