AC '97 Codec Soouncard

had this Athlon mb with built-in AC97 Codec (ALC100/p) soundcard.. any1 knows how to run it under DOS? ive tried all legacy stuffs and it still wont work wid my DOS games& stuffs... it can detect the soundcard but still no sound under DOS... 🙁

any help, pls? 🙁🙁🙁🙁
 
then i guess dis is a bad Soundcard.. 🙁 tried everything, bios legacy settings, drivers from VIA & from Avance.. but still dont work.. 🙁

..and it doesnt have any good features.. 🙁
 
Go into device manager under sound and game items and see what is listed there. If there is somthing that says Dos Mode Emulator or Dos Mode, etc you should be fine. The problem is probably you haven't done the setup for each game. Go into the sound setup options and select your system. If it is a Sound Blaster based onboard sound system, select that option, etc. Most are.
