Abzu releases Tuesday August 2 and PSN+ members get 20% off for pre-orders. It's only a $20 game but I'm very much looking forward to exploring the game. It looks very promising.

It's from the people who did Journey. It's an exploration/puzzle game with a unique art style. You basically explore the mysteries of the oceans and can interact with the underwater creatures.

yeah it looks really neat i will be checking it out. reminds me of flow a bit but looks better. i mentioned something about that in the e3 thread how i hadn't even heard of it until e3 and it looked surprisingly neat. i love the whole environment.

there's literally nothing i like more in life than being in clear oceans looking at sea life.

Oh cool...yeah the music is very well done too. Gives you that sense of wonder and mystery. Kind of gives me that Lost Kingdom of Atlantis feeling.

Reviews are out and it seems to be a 8/10 game. Good controls that are easy to pick up, good art direction and music, the exploration seems to keep you wanting to see what is next. The bad is that there is no context or story when you encounter something on your adventure, it's super short, has almost no challenge and no real battles or puzzles to get past.

Seems like a game more about the adventure than the reason and destination.

What is the point of the game exactly? Just exploration? Game look interesting though but with NMS coming not sure if i'll have time to play this one.

You'll have time. They say it's like 3 hours lol. Honestly it's like Journey if you have ever played that. You experience the world they created and explore what it has to offer. Beyond that there isn't much there. It's more art than anything else I think.
